Youth Alive Zimbabwe delivers comprehensive child rights programming through an integrated continuum of care model that addresses prevention, care, and support across all touch-points in a child’s life. Our approach recognizes that child protection is not a single intervention but a journey, beginning with prevention by enhancing awareness and understanding of child rights among children, youth, adults, and community stakeholders to build protective environments from the ground up. For children already affected by vulnerability or abuse, we provide integrated care and support services that address immediate needs while connecting them to specialized treatment and recovery resources. Throughout this continuum, we strengthen advocacy efforts at local and national levels, ensuring that systems, policies, and institutions work together to protect children. What sets us apart is our commitment to meaningful child participation at every stage; we implement programs with children, not for them. Young people are active decision-makers in shaping prevention strategies, care pathways, and support systems that affect their lives, ensuring our programming is responsive to real needs, culturally grounded, and sustainable.
