Partnerships

Youth Alive Zimbabwe recognizes that sustainable change cannot be achieved alone. We have built a collaborative ecosystem of partners across Government, Civil Society, and the Private sector to amplify our impact and drive systemic transformation across Manicaland.
We work closely with the Government entities that shape policy and service delivery. Our partnerships with the Ministry of Health and Child Care ensure young people access quality, youth-friendly health services through local clinics. We collaborate with the Ministry of Youth, Sports, Arts and Recreation to strengthen youth programming and leadership development. The Ministry of Women’s Affairs, Gender and Community Development supports our gender empowerment initiatives, while the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education helps us integrate rights-based education into schools. We also partner with the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare on livelihoods and economic empowerment, the Ministry of Agriculture on climate-smart agricultural training, and District Administrator offices to ensure our work is grounded in local governance structures.
At the national level, we maintain coordinated partnerships with the National Aids Council, Zimbabwe Council of Churches, Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council, National Association of Non-Governmental Organizations, and Zimbabwe AIDS Network. These relationships strengthen our advocacy, expand our reach, and ensure our work aligns with national priorities and standards.
Our civil society partnerships are vital to our success. We work with organizations including Simukai, FACT, Mwana Trust, Nyanga Community Development Trust, Youth Dialogue Zimbabwe, ASAP, Women Coalition of Zimbabwe, CCJP, DOMCCP, Caritas, and the Legal Resource Foundation. These partnerships enable effective youth dialogue, facilitate referrals, and ensure communities access a comprehensive network of support services.
Faith communities are fundamental to our approach. Local churches are key stakeholders in our programming, mobilizing communities around child protection, care and support for vulnerable groups, and challenging harmful social norms. Through partnerships with faith leaders, we embed child rights and gender equality into spiritual spaces where communities gather.
This coordinated, collaborative approach strengthens our ability to achieve systemic change, ensures our work is complementary rather than duplicate and maximizes sustainable impact across Manicaland and beyond.
